Model Context Protocol

Definition

An open protocol by which AI applications and agents connect to live, structured sources and tools through one standard interface, so that an agent can query a source directly instead of scraping a page.

How we use the term

The Authority Record is exposed through a live MCP endpoint with a discovery beacon on the client's own domain, so an agent that has never heard of the business finds it and asks.
