The Seven Checks

Definition

The teaching ladder for machine trust: Legible, Resolvable, Verifiable, Corroborated, Comprehensible, Proven, Current; the output is confidence, enough of it to recommend.

How we use the term

The seven checks by name live on the How AI Decides page; elsewhere they appear as the build order in three stages: Found, Understood, Proven. They explain what the AI Readiness Report's signals measure; they are not a scoring scale.
