Definition
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)'s data model for the web of data: every fact is a statement of subject, predicate and object, each named by an IRI (Internationalized Resource Identifier) where it can be, so that statements from any source can be joined into one graph and queried together.
How we use the term
The model beneath every triple in The Authority Record™. Your record is emitted in RDF beside the pages, so any system that reads the web of data reads your facts in the form it was built for, with no translation and no guessing.
