Her foundation in information systems was established over two decades ago during her MLIS program, where she focused on the core principles of systems design, database architecture, and advanced search. This discipline—structuring information for precise, systemic retrieval—is the direct precursor to the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks that power today's most advanced AI answer engines. This expertise was then proven at scale in roles managing enterprise-level systems at global technology leaders SAP and Agfa Healthcare. At SAP, Darnell served as the Global Project Lead for "Project Titan," orchestrating the on-time, multi-platform global release of the flagship BusinessObjects XI 3.0 suite. At Agfa Healthcare, she led project management for the pivotal IMPAX PACS gateway, engineering the secure distribution of diagnostic data across complex, regulated healthcare enterprises.

Building on this deep technical foundation, Darnell cultivated a mastery of narrative as the founder of Huckleberry Films. For over 15 years, she guided global giants like Microsoft and Toyota, earning their trust to find and frame their most compelling stories of innovation. Her firm engineered full-spectrum marketing campaigns and custom interactive 3D experiences, translating complex value propositions into resonant brand narratives.
